   What an excellent idea for the lit magazine prize! Would love to see pics of the event and hear what the students have to say. Indeed, they probably see the typewriter as a sort of hipster tchotchke, which makes sense if you have no personal memory of the machine– also, that particular typewriter *is* very stylish.

   It should be quite a wing-ding. I\’ll have plenty of pictures and maybe a few iffy poems. I\’m hoping they write a few on the typewriter before I give it away. Sears President 12 as performance art – we\’ll see how it works.
